The Samurai Bee Squad is a special S.A.F. team, it's purpose is to guard and subdue the S.A.F. insect phylum leader Yamata Chi Hornet.

The Samurai Bee Squad consists of a large number of Japanese Honey Bees, their job is to guard Yamata Chi Hornet, and subdue her. Yamata Chi Hornet is prone to occasionally going berserk (A reference to the brutality of Asian Giant Hornets) and thus the Samurai Bee Squad must subdue her in order to calm her down and protect any of their comrades from Yamata's wrath.
In order to do this, they must surround Yamata and quickly move in to cover her entire body, a reference to what Japanese Honey Bees do to Hornets that try to destroy their nests. Thus, they form a sort of "ball", completely covering Yamata Chi Hornet. They then flex their wing muscles in order to increase the temperature and build up carbon dioxide within the sphere. While such a procedure kills regular hornets, Yamata Chi Hornet's different anatomy enables her to survive the process, though it often exhausts her and thus enables her to clear her mind and calm herself down. Due to Yamata's weapons, the bees must often activate an special ion ray that renders Yamata's weapons useless and allow the process to continue without interruption.
