Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, (Dr. D., Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Doofenshmirtz, Ruler Doof or Doof for short), is the main antagonist of the TV Show, Phineas and Ferb. He is a mad scientist hailing from the country of Druelselstien.

The List of SecretsEdit
He appears in The List of Secrets as a minor antagonist. In the story, Heinz is up to his usual daily scheme. His scheme was to use the Remember-Inator to remember a certain project he can't seem to remember. This will allow him to build a another Other-Dimension-Inator and use their armies to take over the Tri-State-Area. Perry defeats as usual, but not before activating the Remember-Inator and causing Phineas' arguement with Isabella to further escalate. Doofenshimrtz then tries to do it again the next day and gets a message from The Masked Man to hurry up and Vanessa will die. He is later captured at some point by The Masked Man, and is later freed by Perry. Using his back-up portal, he brings the 2nd Dimension armies to defeat the Grox armies. Using his ship the Doofmethues (a reference to the name of the ship from the popular sci-fi movie Prometheus), destroys the the main ship, but at cost of his life. (another reference to Prometheus in when the captain collides with the villains ship to destroy, at cost of his life and ship).
S.A.F. SerialEdit
Doofenshmirtz, along with the remainder of L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N., lose their position as the O.W.C.A's main nemesis and are effectively replaced by the far more terrifying S.A.F. organization. This thus becomes a major driving force in the second arc in the S.A.F. Serial as Doofenshmirtz tries to maintain his position as an evil villain.

Phineas and Ferb (film)Edit
Dr. Doofenshmirtz is an antihero and the main comic relief of this musically Summer-filled adventure when he, Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Perry, and Major Monogram are teleported to somewhere very distant and must find their way back to Danville.
He was first viewed as the film's main antagonist, but when he got transported faraway from Danville with the gang. He was greatly looked down upon because it technically his fault that the gang was faraway from home. Perry was the only one who actually understood him. Later on, everyone generally accepted him and since then, was very useful for finding ways on how to get back home.
